Natalie Twist

Natalie Twist originates from Swansea in South Wales and has a background in Latin American and Ballroom, together with a love of Musical Theatre. Before securing a place on the BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre course at Emil Dale Academy, she studied Btec Performing Arts at Gower College Swansea, where Jackie Bristow, original cast member of ‘West Side Story’, passed on her extensive Jazz knowledge.

Natalie is frequently described as a vivacious and effervescent character, as well as being dedicated and extremely hardworking. Since her introduction to the joys of musical theatre by her piano teacher, Natalie hasn’t looked back. After joining the same local drama group aged 12 as good friend Alex James Hatton, currently performing in The Book of Mormon, she then became resident choreographer aged just 14, gaining a variety of important skills at a very young age.

During her training at the Emil Dale Academy, Natalie developed a great understating of all three disciplines, dancing, singing and acting, making her an all round, confident performer. She was given the opportunity to work  as Dance Captain and Assistant Choreographer with the prestigious Billy Cullum in their Musical Theatre project ‘The Wedding Singer’.

In addition to performing, Natalie is a fully qualified Zumba instructor and launched her own successful, online business, during the pandemic. Additionally, she is passing on her knowledge to the next generation as a dance teacher, and works weekends as a children’s Entertainer and DJ for 3 to 14 year olds. She absolutely loves her jobs, as it allows her to constantly meet new people and, on her travels, see more of Hertfordshire.

In her spare time, Natalie loves socialising and going to events with friends, as well as travelling back home to spend quality time with her family, in the beautiful Welsh countryside.
